About Your Role: 

As our Support Worker you will play a key role empowering the people we support to be part of the community, to live independently & live their best life.  

Duties may include: 

  • Assistance with daily life activities
  • Assistance with personal care tasks
  • Assistance with capacity building tasks
  • Assistance with Household Tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Administration of medication
  • Support for medical appointments
  • Community participation, including Support to get to and from community access activities
  • Assistance with travel/transport
  • Behaviour support and skill development
  • Social support

We currently have multiple positions across Sydney. Working with clients int here own home, part of a SIL (24/7 support), drop in support. With varying needs from social support, complex high intensity support needs, mental health & challenging behaviours.

You will be/have 

  • Good working availability & available to work across different shifts including morning, evening & weekends
  • Comfortable with providing personal care
  • Current Driver’s License, comprehensive car insurance and your own motor vehicle
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Have mobile/email address and ability to use IT Applications (apps)
  • Cert III in disability or relevant industry experience is ideal
  • NDIS worker screening
  • Strong desire to support people with a disability to increase and maintain independence
  • Positive, energetic a can do attitude with a passion for working with people.
