A little bit about the role
School Crossing Supervisors have a much-valued and respected role in our community.  They help students and families cross the road safely during peak school times. It is a great way to stay active and connect with the Boroondara community.

To be a School Crossing Supervisor you have good communication skills and can provide clear instructions and excellent customer service.  You are professional,  friendly, courteous, reliable and flexible. Just bring your smile and positive attitude!

Shifts are available across the week – 45 minutes in the morning and/or afternoon.

Employment requirements 

  • Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
  • Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check 
  • Appointment is dependent on a satisfactory Working With Children’s Clearance
  • All local government employees must be fully vaccinated to perform work outside of their place of residence. School Crossing Supervisor are required to have had a booster vaccination. Appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to provision of evidence of vaccination status or medical exemption prior to commencement.
