Kaloma currently has a position available for a Personal Carer to join our team.
About us:
We are an 80 bed aged care facility in Goondiwindi that also delivers community aged care packages and has 8 independent living units. Kaloma is a not-for-profit organisation administered by a voluntary Board of Directors – therefore all funds go back into the facility and our residents care.
Kaloma offers above award wages, salary packaging benefits, probation bonuses, as well as ongoing professional development and training. Kaloma is also able to offer reimbursement costs of up to $1000 – terms apply. Fully furnished shared accommodation may be available at a weekly cost to the successful applicant to assist with the transition and move to our great town of Goondiwindi.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and familiarisation with smart phones
You will need to have the following:
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check – or willingness to obtain
- Up to date Covid 19 vaccination according to ATAGI recommendations
- Current working rights for Australia
