In this role, you will assist in providing high-quality care services for residents, ensuring choice and compassion are always supported. You will enjoy building strong relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues to help ensure care outcomes are exceeded.

About the roles available at Aveo Freedom Bendigo:

  • We have two permanent part-time positions available. See roster below and screening questions.
  • You will work as part of a team providing safe and effective personal care, tailored to the resident’s needs
  • Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence
  • Provide assistance to the residents and community with tasks including (but not limited to): medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties 
  • Located in Kennington, Aveo Freedom Bendigo is a wonderful community led by a team of caring staff!

Role One
 

  • Fortnightly roster of 42 hours – great penalty rates and every second weekend off!
  • Week One: Monday 8.30-12.30pm, Tuesday 8.30-12.30pm and Wednesday 3-11pm
  • Week Two: Monday 3-11pm, Thursday 7-3pm, Friday 3-11pmand Saturday 8.30-12.30pm

Role Two:
 

  • Fortnightly roster of 35 hours – full of fantastic penalty rates! 
  • Week One: Wednesday 4.30-8.30pm, Thursday 4.30-8.30pm and Saturday 4.30-8.30pm
  • Week Two: Monday 4.30-8.30pm, Wednesday 4.30-8.30pm, Friday 3-11pm and Saturday 3-11pm

About you:

  • Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
  • Passionate Carer with excellent people & communication skills 
  • Trustworthy, reliable & enjoy working in a team environment 
  • Reliable, flexible approach to 24 hour rostering
  • Experience in retirement living or home and community care
