In this role, you will assist in providing high-quality care services for residents, ensuring choice and compassion are always supported. You will enjoy building strong relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues to help ensure care outcomes are exceeded.

About the roles available at Aveo Freedom Toowoomba:

  • We have four permanent part-time roles available in our community. Please see roster options below and select your preference in the screening questions!
  • All roles range from 36 hours to 40 hours a fortnight, providing fantastic work/life balance! 
  • You will work as part of a team providing safe and effective personal care, tailored to the resident’s needs
  • Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence
  • Provide assistance to the residents and community with tasks including (but not limited to): medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties 
  • Located on Taylor Street in Glenvale, Aveo Freedom Toowoomba is a vibrant community that provides fantastic support for the residents and our staff.

Roster One:

  • Fortnightly roster of 39 hours – no weekends!
  • Week One: Monday 6-11am, Tuesday 6-2.30pm and Wednesday 6-2pm
  • Week Two: Monday 6-11am, Tuesday 6-12.30pm and Wednesday 6-2pm

Roster Two:

  • Fortnightly roster of 37.5 hours – penalty rates apply for some shifts!
  • Week One: Monday 2-8pm, Tuesday 6-12.30pm and Thursday 2-10pm
  • Week Two: Wednesday 6-11am, Thursday 6-2pm and Saturday 6-12.30pm

Roster Three:

  • Fortnightly roster of 40 hours – Great weekend penalty rates!
  • Week One: Monday 2-8pm, Friday 2-9pm and Sunday 6-2pm
  • Week Two: Wednesday 6-2.30pm, Thursday 6-11am and Saturday 2-10pm

Roster Four:

  • Fortnightly roster of 36.5 hours – no weekends and great work/life balance roster!
  • Week One: Tuesday 6-2pm, Wednesday 6-2pm and Thursday 6-12.30pm
  • Week Two: Wednesday 6-2.30pm and Friday 2-10pm.

About you:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required but we will complete for you)
  • Passionate Carer with excellent people & communication skills 
  • Trustworthy, reliable & enjoy working in a team environment 
  • Reliable, flexible approach to 24 hour rostering
  • Experience in retirement living or home and community care
