Tallangatta Health Service (THS) is seeking passionate and people-focused individuals to join our Health Service.
Joining our collaborative and dynamic Leisure and Lifestyle team, this role will see you enhancing the quality of life for our Residential Aged Care consumers through a meaningful lifestyle program, including leisure activities, purposeful interactions, human connections and well-being activities. You will do this through planning, developing and implementing programs with your colleagues by working closely with the residents as well as their families and significant others.
We currently have two opportunities available;
- Permanent, part time with two shifts per week
- Casual positions

Tallangatta Health Service is a 66 bed, small rural public health service providing a mix of acute, sub-acute, aged care residential, and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. We pride ourselves on being a consumer-focused progressive provider of care to our community and consumers with a multidisciplinary focus.
About you
You are passionate about person centered-care and motivated to enhance the wellbeing of our consumers. You will also have;
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Cert IV in Lifestyle or equivalent
- Experience in the ongoing provision of a range of Leisure and Lifestyle activities in an Aged Care setting is highly desirable
- Strong commitment to consumer-focused care
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, flexible with a positive attitude
- Drivers licence mandatory, manual and/or bus licence desirable
All appointments are made subject to the required security screening including National Criminal History, Vic Working with Children, NDIS Worker Screening checks and an immunisation status appropriate to the role, including the COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.
