United NT Disability Services was created to help improve outcomes for NDIS participants in the NT. We strive to be different and provide the very best services to the participant with highly trained qualified staff who work to make people feel inclusive and part of a community.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support /disability or other relevant qualification (Highly regarded)
- Certificate IV in Disability (Highly regarded)
- Qualifications in a relevant field (Highly regarded)
- Experience working with people with disabilities
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination
- NDIS Screening Clearance Check (or OCHRE card)
- Drivers Licence and own transportation
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance required
- Full availability including sleepovers and active nights
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide support to patients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Understand and provide appropriate care to patients with low needs to patients with high needs who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviours
- Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
- Provide personal care to person with a disability in independent supported living homes managed by us
- Work under general guidance from the personal seeking support and their family within clearly defined guidelines
- Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives.
- Support clients to participate in age appropriate activities and tasks including employment, sport and games, daily living tasks and socialising in home support and community access
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals
- Ability and diligence in completing in CTARS – a dedicated client management system for NDIS Disability Services.
