About the Company:

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
The Role:
We require a Support Worker to partner with a participant based in Rockhampton, QLD. Our participant sustained a spinal cord injury.
The role is commencing as soon as possible with care requirements Monday to Sunday assisting for 5.5 hours per day. Hours will vary depending on appointments etc.
Pay Rates:
- Day – $36.25 per hour
- Saturday – $50.75 per hour
- Sunday – $65.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with domestic tasks
- Assistance with meal preparation (lunch and dinner)
- Supervising medication
- Support engagement in home therapy program
- Transporting to therapy or medical appointments
- Social support
Skills & Experiences:
- Australian Driver Licence
- Evidence of Covid and Flu Vaccinations
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Training – Covid19
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
