Our Service provides assistance to Clients with a disability within their home and the community. We have extensive experience and knowledge within the Disability, Aged Care and Mental Health sectors and is committed to working with Providers and Clinicians to provide a quality service to meet the needs of Clients.
We are a registered provider with the NDIA.
Due to the current influx of referrals, we are requiring additional staff.
THE ROLE
The Disability Support Worker will be required to meet with Clients at scheduled times either in their home or within the community.
We need some one who has;
- · Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- · Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
- · Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- · Current NSW drivers license and willingness to drive for work purposes
- Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
Essential Criteria:
· Experience working with or providing care to people with a disability in their homes or within the community.
Be able to work night shifts , Sleepovers , active nights & weekends when required.
- National Police check and Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Person-centred focus.
- Experience supporting individuals with challenging and complex behaviours, Autism, ADHD, Mental health
- Up to date Covid 19 Vaccinations
- NDIS Worker screening check
- Must be available to work early mornings and weekends.
