focus supports people to live independently in their own homes and thrive in their local community. Every day will be a mix of engaging our clients in achieving daily household tasks; encouraging participation in social and recreational activities; creating healthy patterns of personal care and offering support in participation in appropriate education or employment.

Support Professionals also create memorable moments for people living with a disability – think a day at the footy, a cooking class, or a movie; Guide people through personal milestones – think learning to drive or opening a bank account. They are the trusted, supportive, and guiding voice, and nothing makes us happier than a client reaching their own potential.

The Opportunity

  • Paid Traineeship in the Disability Sector (minimum 20 hours per week)
  • Fully Funded Certificate IV Disability (Through RMIT University)
  • No Experience or Qualifications Required

We match every Support Professional to an appropriate client. Rapport and connection are paramount in Disability support work, so you will be supported to understand the needs of those you’ve been carefully chosen to support.
