About the role

We are looking to hire Disability Support Workers, for our clients across Rockhampton. At the Supported independent Living Sites, you will ensure our clients are able to thrive independently and are given choice and control in their daily living activities. You will be required to work flexibly across a 24/7 roster, including sleepovers, weekends and public holidays. We currently have permanent part time opportunities with up to 25 hours per week guaranteed or casual opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Reliable vehicle, with minimum third party insurance
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate

To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption certificate.  You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process. 

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
