We specialise in the recruitment of outstanding healthcare professionals and provide direct support for individuals living with a disability in their own homes and within the community.

The role:

This role involves supporting two of our clients living in a SIL house in Narangba. One of our clients has an Acquired Brain Injury and the other has Cerebral Palsy. Both clients require full assistance with all their ADL’s. We are seeking support workers who can work a mix of morning, day, afternoon and sleepover shifts. Due to the nature and complexity of the clients’ needs, candidates must have relevant disability experience.

Duties:

  • Personal cares
  • Manual handling using hoists
  • Medication administration
  • Behaviour management
  • Community access
  • Companionship
  • Domestic assistance

About you:

  • Behaviour management experience
  • Personal care experience
  • Manual handling experience
  • Medication competency
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • NDIS Screening Card/ Yellow Card
  • Dual COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Manual Handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
