About the Role
A great opportunity exists for a Disability Support Worker to assist a great team in providing care to a 24 year old male living at home.
We employ a small group of staff providing cares to our son, and we are looking to expand that team.
The program is self-managed which allows us the freedom to train and educate our staff to ensure they have all the relevant skills to provide care to our son.

We are currently offering 6-7 nights per fortnight approx 60-70 hrs. With the opportunity to fill in when other staff are unavailable.
Within the role you will assist with:
- Personal care
- Physio + Hydrotherapy, speech, and occupational therapy program
- Continence care
- Peg feeds
- Medications
- Domestic duties
- Social outings
About You
As our new team member, you will possess the following-
Preferred Criteria:
- 12 months working in disability
- SCI or TBI experience
- PEG feeds
- Webster Pak medications
- Continence care
- Lifter/hoist experience
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum Cert iii in disability or equivalent
- Current first aid/CPR certificate
- Police clearance & working with children check
- Drivers licence & reliable transport
- Good driving record
- Ability to work a variety of shifts & hours, including some weekends & possible nights
- Great sense of humour
Continual training in all aspects of this program will be provided.
