Disability Support Worker – Central Coast
- Support clients with disabilities and help foster their independence within the community
- Hourly Rate: $30.46 – $33.23 + 25% loading for casuals (plus shift penalties where applicable)
- Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging options are available for all staff (up to $15,900/pa)

About The Role
This role is about supporting people in a person-centred way, to meet their needs and goals according to their own choices. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Support with daily living skills such as food preparation, house-keeping etc.
- Support with personal care including meal assistance, toileting and bathing
- Administering medication or other medical procedures where required
- Promoting activities that offer meaningful experiences and increase social networks such as venturing out into the community to participate in activities and programs of interest.
Skills & Experience
Our ideal candidate is someone who is willing to listen and learn. No experience is required, and you will be supported by a experienced team member to develop your skills. Ideally, this person;

- Has ability to see the potential in people and shows initiative
- Is creative and proactive in identifying and responding to change
- Is empathetic and a good listener
All staff are required to hold a NSW Driver’s License (P2/Full), a First Aid Certificate (or be willing to apply for one), and a current Working with Children’s Check (if required).
As we work with vulnerable people, the successful candidate will also be required to undergo an NDIS Worker Screening Check and provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19.
