JOB DESCRIPTION

Who we are: 

 Kensey Care is a local home and community support provider. As a  registered NDIS provider we support people in the City of Greater Bendigo  community who are living with a disability and/or ageing. 

This is an excellent opportunity for university or TAFE students who are studying within the Nursing or Allied Health field to work within industry while studying. 

Flexible working hours, employees set their own availability! 

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Our Community Support Worker’s assist clients to remain living independently in their own home and community. No day is ever time same! Some  of the tasks you will be providing:

  • assistance with self-care
  • assistance in community (example: appointments & grocery shopping)
  • skill development, prompting and motivation
  • Domestic Assistance 

Qualifications & Experience: 

Please read the below requirements before applying for this position. 

  • Hold a minimum Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support, Cert IV in , Disability Support or currently enrolled in year University Study or TAFE  in either Nursing or Allied Health.
  • MUST have current COVID Vaccine and flu shot- Proof from Medicare required. 
  • Hold a current minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR or prepared to obtain 
  • Have a recent and clear (3 month) National Police Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check         
  • Must have a roadworthy vehicle, Australian Drivers Licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Own a mobile smart phone.
