We are seeking professional, passionate, and enthusiastic Support Workers who shares our values and commitment to join our team in Bowen.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to support individuals by working collaboratively as a member of a Support Team and in partnership with the individual and their families to promote skills development, independence, and resilience.
The role is based on a Casual position.
$$ above award pay rates $$ $30 – $34.99 per hour, pending experience and qualifications.
Tasks completed but not limited to the role:
- Personal Care
- Domestic assistance
- Social support
- Medication prompting / Assistance
- Manual Handling
Requirements of the Role:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or other related field – or willing to obtain during your employment.
- Flexibility with Availability over a rotating roster, inclusive of active overnight support, public holidays and weekends.
- Successful completion of NDIS worker orientation module
- Must have, or be willing to obtain: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Paid Working with Children’s Check, NDIS Worker Check & recent/contactable industry related references, if able.
- Driver’s Licence
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to adhere to client support plans and complete documentation
- Smart phone with internet access
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
