THE OPPORTUNITY
We are on the lookout for 2x experienced Community Support Worker’s to join our growing team on a full-time basis!
These positions will work throughout the Illawarra region and will work within the hours of:
Position 1: Monday to Friday 11:45am to 6:30pm
Position 2: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 2:00pm
The role of a Community Support Worker is to provide quality services that supports people over the age of 65, and helps them strengthen their capacity to continue living in their own home and surrounds.
Duties of a Community Support Worker include:
- The provision of Client Directed Care;
- Transportation services;
- Respite care;
- Domestic assistance – Unlike other providers, allcare team members are not required to do large blocks of cleaning, as we provide professional cleaning services to our clients;
- Personal care;
- Social support services.
WHAT WE OFFER

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care (or the aspiration to get one);
- Current Australian Drivers Licence;
- Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive vehicle insurance;
- Smart Mobile Phone and Internet access;
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19;
- A solid understanding of the needs of older people and their carers;
- The ability work as part of team to achieve goals.
