JOB DESCRIPTION

Ellie Jane support services has been operating in the Ipswich area for the past 24 months. 

We are a small team of passionate people, each with our own unique qualities that separate us from larger organisations. 

We are seeking the services of a professional, flexible and compassionate support worker with the knack for getting the job done!

This a casual position with an expected weekly commitment of 20 hours per week working with a range of different clients with various disabilities.

The successful candidate will have: 

  • A wide range of availabilites especially in the afternoons and evenings. 
  • Experience working with people in a person centred environment.
  • Past experience as a disability support worker.
  • Ability to easily relate to others.
  • Willingness to perform light house cleaning duties, assist with personal care and social access.
  • Experience working with participants with autism, mental health or physical health challenges. 

The successful candidate will also have/have the ability to obtain:
– NDIS worker screening 
– Blue card/Yellow card
– Police check 
– An open license 
– Be fully vaccinated or have a relevant medical exemption. 

Pay will range from $30-$60  per hour with reimbursement for car expenses. Pay rate determined based on qualifications and relevant experience.
