The Position:
We are looking for people who have a passion for helping others. We are looking for motivated and compassionate staff join our team in the Shellharbour area. Shifts will be 8-10 hours and comprise of a mixture of AM, PM and Active Nights
Our positions will see you providing practical and emotional support to people with disabilities in their own home. While this is a casual role, there may be future opportunities to transition into a permanent part time role if you prove to be a great fit and love the role.

Job Requirements:
- Obtained, working towards or willing to obtain a Certificate III in Individual Support or a relevant qualification.
- Proven experience in the community services sector or lived experience of supporting people with a disability or other health related conditions.
- Current Driver’s license (P2’s and International Licence accepted).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Your own comprehensively insured vehicle.
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- A smart phone with internet access.
- Recent and contactable references.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transport and community access assistance to the supermarket, work, or appointments.
- Domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
- Grocery shopping, meal planning and safe food preparation.
- Capacity building, empowering customers to develop life skills in cooking, shopping, budgeting, finding, and keeping a job.
- Supporting customers with community engagement and activities for improved social skills, interactions, and relationships.
- Assistance with personal care (showering and toileting as required), grooming and hygiene; medication prompting and general self-care.
