Disability Support Worker S&A helping hands

JOB DESCRIPTION

S&A helping hands are looking for support workers to join our team! We have multiple positions available in Ipswich, Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Our clientele ranges from children to adults and their disabilities vary including muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, quadriplegia, epilepsy, brain tumour, autism, disassociation identity disorder etc..

Duties might include personal care, general house keeping, cooking, and community/social support, shopping, appointments, group activities etc.

This is a very rewarding position and the right candidates will be caring individuals and be reliable.

You will also have the following, or be willing to obtain, cert 3 in disability support or similar, first aid and cpr, blue card, NDIS worker screening clearance, police check, drivers licence and vehicle with full comp insurance and have evidence of covid vaccinations. 

Previous experience and training in mental health  is advantageous.

This opportunity is for immediate start.
