Disability Support Worker Ignite Community Services

JOB DESCRIPTION

IGNITE Community Services is a disability organisation that has a strong sense of person centered support with an emphasis on family. We offer a range of supports, both the traditional types and new ones, all based around what the person needs.

We are currently looking for people to work in 24/7 homes, in the community and as a part of our Social Crew program. We are looking to engage 4 people. These roles are mostly in the Ipswich area however we support participants across Brisbane too. 

What we need from you!

  • Blue and yellow card – Or national worker screening check
  • First aid
  • Fully Vaccinated under QLD Mandate – (First 2 shots)
  • Experience in disability support
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
  • Flexible to fill shifts where people maybe on holidays or sick outside of your roster
  • The want and drive to make a difference in peoples lives

What we will give you :

  • SCHADS award 2.1 -Casual. 
  • Full training and induction
  • $80 sleepover allowance
  • Support and ongoing training as needed
