Nurse Next Door (Sydney-Ryde region) is looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced home care workers with different skill sets and talents, who also have the passion to provide quality care to the elderly and people with disabilities.
Our suburbs cover Ryde, Eastwood, Epping, Macquarie Park, Ermington, Marsfield, Meadowbank, Denistone, Gladesville, Putney, Woolwich, Hunters Hill, Lindfield, Killara, Gordon, Pymble, and surroundings.

Your Role
Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® is at the heart of what we do — enabling older people and those living with disabilities to remain independent, so they can continue to live happily and healthily in the comfort of their own home.
Your role may include, but is not limited to:
· Assisting with meal preparation, grocery shopping, light house-keeping or other domestic duties
· Assisting with personal care including toileting, bathing and personal hygiene, personal grooming, hair and skin care, oral hygiene etc.
· Prompting medication
· Transferring/hoisting between the toilet, bed, motor vehicles etc.
· Providing transportation or accompaniment for shopping, appointment, or other activities
· Engaging clients with past hobbies and interests
· Supporting clients to participate in community activities
Skills and Experience
· Minimum Cert III (Aged Care/Community/Individual Support/Disability)
· Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
· Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages are plus
· Driving license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle are huge plus
· Previous caregiving experience with aged people or people with disabilities is a plus
· Be proactive and responsible for own behaviour & success
· Ability to identify and report client care concerns to supervisor as needed
Mandatory Requirement
· National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector); and
· Working With Children Check; or
· NDIS Worker Check
